Finally got enough pics and descriptions to post my Great Wall of China Lego MOC which will be my entry to the Ancients Theme 2001. I was curious where I could get the knights kingdom defence archer for REALLY, REALLY CHEAP ( like less than 50 cents cheap)? I often hear about things like starwars sets at wal*mart for 10 times less, but I have never found THAT good a sale at (...) (24 years ago, 11-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

Hello Friends, Been busy so I missed this discussion. I already have had stickers made and it's the only way to go! They are cut perfect and stay on even if they get wet, They wont rub off. (...) Well, I'd be inclined to call it 'pauldrons'. Technically a pauldron only covers the shoulder, but it's the closest thing that comes to mind. It doesn't really have a "real" equivalent. The cross did make an appearance in the original castle set, and since it IS the most common charge in heraldry, Lego should very well consider making more of them! Has anyone made a village wheelhouse (river house)... I'm not quite sure of the name, but I'm sure you know what I mean. How would you guys go about building the paddle wheel? Hi Alan, I like it! I personally prefer to use regular bricks for the majority of my structures as opposed to the pre-formed castle wall pieces, so I REALLY like this castle. :-) Also, I like that you were able to make the inside of the "keep" (...) (24 years ago, 17-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)
