I joined (in digest so I'll get one mail a day) but I would say that you'd
be better served using the LUGNET(tm) facilities for this as wide visibility
might be a good thing. Move the discussion to the right group, yes. Go dark?
Maybe not.

Actually at this point, I don't think there is much to discuss until the
template is made.  At which point I'd report back to the group as to what we
can physically put on there.

Second, I don't think it's going "dark" as the group is really easy to join
and you can read all the past messages without having to scroll through the
way you have to on Lugnet.

Third, if there are any questions or comments and people post them to
Lugnet, I'd be more than happy to respond and I feel I've been doing just
that in the past couple of days.

I'll be watching the yahoogroups thing also but you're going to run into
some problems with trying to move discussion of this.  Not everyone will
want to join Yahoogroups just to read it, of course.  I think you'll end up
with some things being discussed here, some there, and some people following
one or the other, some both, and probably just more confusion than you might
think.

But that's ok - I mainly just want to buy sticker sheets, so as long as I
see the announcement for the polls I'll be ok.

I do think lugnet.publish would be a perfectly valid alternative to removing
discussion to another place.  You'd have some continuity as well - this
discussion would remain searchable here, on LUGNET, and be a resource for
others.
