Not too bad, all considered. Creating anything organic with Lego at minifig
scale is quite a challenge. With an African elephant, the top of the head
is more in line with the back, the back has something of a hump towards the
rear, and the belly sags a bit towards the rear. One stud wider, maybe two
if you want to round the body more. The legs look the proper length.

| (...) I'm (...) not (...) I made an elephant last year that's a bit closer to Bruce's description. Whether or not its minifig scale is a matter of opinion, though. The howdah can hold 5 minifigs. Pictures are at (URL) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)
