I don't mean to assume, but I'm interested in how you did this. Judging by the QT format is it safe to say you used some type of digital video camera (like the every day Hi8 / Digital8 Cameras) and transferred it over firewire to something like (...) That was great! After watching it about 3 1/2 times it keeps getting better. By far the best part was when the guy in "LEGO Today" saw his brick and it was a burp and he frowned! That was great! Gary, I don't care for command line parameter either. I created a simple batch file and called it CONVERT.BAT There is a variable, so all you type is CONVERT FILENAME No need for an extension. Michael, #insert STDPRAISE.h I've been using MLCad again. And I noticed something that vexes me. I'd like to be able to use the keyboard shortcuts more. (...) No, L3P uses the LDraw coordinate system. This was an important design goal. L2P (LGEO) uses its own coordinate system. Otherwise a good description. I have a suggestion for making MLCAD more useful for part authoring. It would be cool if there were a special mode for part authoring. I've never tried to use camera options until now, but I think we can enhance that if we have a camera-file (like the light.dat) which L3P counts in. When I started using MLCAD/L3P/POV-RAY, I had quite a few issues. - Installation - The existing ldraw.org was pretty good in instructing how to find and install these things. I noticed one of Marc Klein's parts had comments for a part rotation point. I assume this is because he used MLCad to open the part and saved it. It got me thinking, though. (...) Possibly! I got a copy of the latest LDLite and it does a much better job of rendering the edge lines. In the report dialog there is a checkbox to enable the parts-per-step report. If this is not checked you will receive a report over the complete model. I'll check that in the file-report as well - (I'm not sure here) Is it ok, that MLCad takes care (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
