  Re: New LDraw contest?

So what exactly has to happen to get the first LDraw animation contest going? I say give everyone until to the middle of June to submit entires and start voting and announce winners at the end of June. I think that should give everyone enough time. (...)   New Tutorial: How to make thumbnails for your inventory using a batch file for LDView

hi folks, do you fancy thumbnails for your inventory or do you feel that the parts list of your model also deserves images of the single parts?   Re: New LDraw contest?

  Re: New LDraw contest?

  Re: New LDraw contest?

  Re: New LDraw contest?

  Re: New LDraw contest?

(...) There is another ongoing contest related to LDraw animation. Who will be the first to set up a system for LDraw animating made really easy?   Re: New LDraw contest?

  Re: New LDraw contest?

  Re: New LDraw contest?

No way! I couldn't wait for a bi-annual competition. I'll admit that though I'm not so skilled with animation, I'm still learning and experimenting with new things, such as camera/model rotation etc. It might not even need to be a contest. It could (...) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  Re: New LDraw contest?

(...) Quarterly would be okay, but i think bi-annual is more realistic. Most animations are still "infant" in nature, with the exception of one or two indiviudals that have learned to harnest the power of POV-Ray animation. -AHui A&M LWorks (URL) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  New LDraw contest?
