I think we can all see that a fig

is a woman.

Why does a fig need long hair to be a woman?  I know plenty of
women with short hair.  (And plenty of women who don't wear
lipstick, either.)

Not to mention guys with long hair.

The new Castle sets looked promising,
a female knight and all, but the shape of her armor?
C'mon!

Actually, her armor shape was pretty good IMHO. It's much better than the
queen's torso in the same set, or the "wenches'" torsos. (that's *not* to say
I don't like them, on the contrary; but I don't think they're appropriate for
kids' toys.)

And worst yet is the busty woman in the Stevey
Speilberg set, in a sports bra with a coat at her
bellybutton?

I have *no* idea which set you're talking about here.

I think he means the one on the upper right pic, here:

The only
ones I can think of as a possibility are the Dino Island sets, but the
female fig *I* got wasn't in a sports bra - she was wearing a
button-up shirt - the one showing his navel was an overweight
guy...

This one is definitely a great torso, IMO. It's generic, not overly, um,
revealing, and it's fairly clear it's a girl (1). I'll be waiting for
clearances on the Dino sets to get her (and, well, the dinos too :-).

(1) well... not always (see http://www.lugnet.com/general/?n=17592 and replies)

(...) Interesting...have you always had this problem with the female form? Is there a problem with kids knowing that women are shaped differently from men? (...)
