Well, when I'm stuck, sometimes I pull out instructions for a couple of medium-size sets (from the same theme, though I guess they wouldn't have to be), build them (just to get in the mood for building), then tear them apart and see what else I can (...) Hi Dave, On the RCX side, I wouldn't want true objects. I wouldn't want to fill up the RCX variables with vtables and the program memory with the code to use the vtables. Your right John! eBay has played a BIG part in the price reduction, infact... think about it, 6086 on ebay could very well sell for $250 or more a year ago, now though I doubt you could get half that price.
