  FW: idea for firmware development

(...) Smaller? Sergey and I were discussing making the kernel a bit smaller, but so far my 10x10 maze robot takes up about 4K out of about 13K of application space. With better coding, I could probably shave about 1.5K off that. I find it hard to (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Is the LDraw parts database free?

(...) So do we want to clearly delineate what people can, and cannot, do with the parts library? Or is it better to leave it fuzzy? If people have to ask permission before doing certain actions (such as translating and/or redistributing), who do (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Set 5909

(...) little (...) I have it and it's a great set. I'm pretty sure it was just a 'limited edition' type thing. I saw it all at once at Walmarts & TRUs in MASS quantity (end caps stuffed with 'em) late last summer, then watched their numbers shrink (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: TRU venting (was Re: Prices of New Star Wars LEGO)

(...) Child World really was a great store it was my favorite toy store growing up. I think one of the reasons you found so much old stuff in 1990 though was probably because they were hurting finacially and were emptying their warehouses. Like (...)   Re: About Blasters

Hmm... this is interesting actually. I was wondering about this myself, and it did not make any sense to me until you reminded me that they had produced guns for the Wild West and Adventurers series. This made me think about the Batman Animated (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: TRU venting (was Re: Prices of New Star Wars LEGO)

(...) You guys remember the Child World/Children's Palace chain that I think died out about 9 years ago (That's the last time I remember seeing one). They were great for so many reasons. They got some weird import toys in, actually marked their (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: compiling legOS

(...) getopt.h is part of the standard gnu C libraries. In a normal Linux system, it is in /usr/include/. What compiler are you using on Solaris? Is it gcc or something else? If it's gcc, then it should be there. IF you are not using gcc, then there (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Set 5909

Does anyone have any ideas as to why it's so difficult (nearly impossible) to find set 5909? It's the set with the tan bi-plane with white wings and a little jeep-truck thing. I've managed to collect every other adventurers' set from 1998 except (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) I used to work at a bookstore, and we had that problem all the time. There were times when the inventory said 0, or -1 and we had one sitting on the shelf. (...) Which goes directly to my point, the numbers in an online inventory system (for anything smaller than autos or rocket ships) should always be viewed with some expectation of being off a little.   Re: Thinking of getting new Train

(...) You may want to call Shop at Home and get 3225 Classic Train before they sell out. It's about the best of the recent trains. Also look for 4565 in the stores (or get it from S@H). 4561 the newest train is ok, but I would hold out for a sale (I (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)
