Got it today, pulled out a tiny bag of stuff (left ALL the classic windows in there), then dumped in a big Ziploc of stuff. Yes, I've seen e-lab in the catalog, and thought of trying to get one set in with my other stuff, but the grant was specifically for robotics (because I wrote it before elab came out....) and I want enough for a whole class. Well, I just got my Droid kit today and I noticed a paper that showed the wonders of the RCX and how it can be hooked up to the DDK. I think what Christopher was asking about are bricks that are one color with no printing, like the yellow and black he mentioned, and the clear ones I am aware of. The amusement park set has really good models, but probably doesn't give you the same amount of plastic for your dollar as some other sets. My supercar from DYA finally came, and as I put in the steering wheel, I noticed that it only engaged the rear wheels. THis is because the rack gear for steering in front is kind of suspended in space, and doesn't make contact with the spur gear (...) (25 years ago, 11-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

You have to get the latest version of the catalog, or just go to their website. Also, if you are planning on doing any data-taking with the RCX (graphing, analyzing graphs, etc.) you want to get the "e-lab" sets that are at the website, and ROBOLAB (...) I got the box and had to dump it out on the kitchen table in order to sort through all of it :) and while I was looking at parts I guess I didn't notice he was building away! (...) Zonker, Count me in as a train theme day supporter. I will try to have an actual loop done by in modules then, but my work will be increasing greatly when our harvest season comes (110 hour weeks) and I have about 2 1/2 weeks of bulding time before (...)
