Thanks. It was difficult to program, and I never did get the program to work
properly, AFAICR :-)

Right. Even so, trying to steer left by turning the motor one way, then back
the other to re-centre the steering would be tricky to do accurately. What
we need is a self-centering mechanism like that used on real r/c cars.

They were taken with a Sony Mavica at 640x480, then scaled down to 320x200.
They are good at that size, but unacceptable when full size.
