Using thread instead of chain links is indeed a cheaper solution, and may even give more curving options. I agree that the only way to get around the corner is to use 1x1 technic bricks with the modified 1x1 brick but how do you then match the height of the studs? I am told 'Byggebog' means "building book" or "manual for constructions" The book doesn't have any date on it, but, according to Gary Istok, it dates from 1955 when the (...)
