Thanks to your advices, Dick, Matt, and Steve, I've been very happy to solve my
time sampling problems, installing BrickOS, which runs the rcx fast enough to
get a proper position servoing (using rotation or light sensor, and a PID
controller).
I then used this PID to balance an inverse pendulum on a cart (same problem as
the legway, though less stable).
My next challenges are :
- servo the inverse pendulum's cart horizontal position (while balancing the
pendulum) ;
- balance a riding bicycle, while following a straight or curve line ;
- servo a motor speed using an other motor as a tachometer.
If anybody has been working on such devices, suggestions will be welcome !
