Announcing the latest patch to the gcc-2.8.1 compiler to add an HC11 compile target. The latest patches were submitted to me by Dean Huxley. I have both a miniboard and a Handy board. I have recently purchased some Sharp 40mhz IR detectors to use with these boards. I've just bought mine two weeks ago from Hamleys in Regent Street (tube: Piccadilly Circus or a nice walk from Oxford Street). I took my wife and 2 kids out last Thursday. We flew from Gatwick directly to Billund, by Maersk Air scheduled flight. The flight was about 1hr 20 mins. The main model can be "motorized". There is a slot for the motor and you make a stand to raise the rear wheels. The car is too heavy for the motor to move it. Of course, all models can be motorized, since they are all cosmetic changes to the same (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Well, then in that sense everything talks to any device indirectly one could say then. VB coding has to be "compiled" then it is sent to the RCX. My understanding of the doc (the PDF file that documents the API) is that VB talks to the RCX rather indirectly. Essentially, it's making OLE automation calls to the Mindstorms ActiveX object (SPIRIT.OCX), which in turn does the work of (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi! If you have an RF Transmitter and Reciever with Antennas, can you detach the antennas and just connect a co-ax cable between them?
