I was walking home from work and passing the used toy store (Toy Go Round)
that I always
check for Lego sets. My heart skipped a beat because today in the front
window they had a Town #1682 Space Shuttle! I ran in and grabbed it
immediately. The set was 99% complete, all the special pieces present, even
the instruction book (though it was pretty worn and battered). The best
part was the fact that all the stickers were still there and most in good
condtion so I was able to lift them off and apply them to another #1682 that
I already have, which has no stickers but the pieces are much better
condition (many parts from the set had some yellowing from the sun). Now I
can add these girders to the #6339 Shuttle Lauch Pad I have! Best of all,
this store also does consignment and I had about $9 credit on my account, so
the whole thing came to only $30! Aaaah, every day should be a Lego day
this good!
