  Re: Transformer Power

(...) The chip in the controller is officially rated at 1.3A, but it has a rather small heatsink and automatic thermal shut down, so it seems to go to about 1A continuous. You can push it, but it'll warm up and shut down on you, then you have to (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Vita in città

(21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: FBTB Fourms: How we miss you

(...) What the Heck is this (didn't want to use "heck")? I just checked out that site, and it looks like a site where "raunchy Lego talk" takes place. The discussion about putting ones mouth to..... well I won't say it here, but it does mention (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Transformer Power

Can anyone tell me how much current a standard train controller puts out? I want to run several standard 9v gear motors from a train controller. But, I'm not sure how many I can run, before bad things start to happen. Thanks Steve (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Steel Falcon Redeux

(...) Hey, Chris, I like it. And I do remember admiring the Steel Falcon Mark I, a few weeks ago. But my memory of the original is certainly not going to be as sharp as yours. Meanwhile, you seem to have deleted the "MOC page" for the original Steel (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.space)

  More micro-scale MOCS

I've posted more of my Lego Factory entries on Brickshelf, 22 in total to be exact. It's been a lot of fun creating these, even though I haven't had much luck in the actual contest. Here is the link to my folder. LMKWYT. Thanks for looking: (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX) !

Re: Change to existing policy regarding the subfiling of dithered colors

(...) To be honest, I suspect that if you aren't a hard-core reviewer, you're probably not holding anything due to dithering. Maybe I'm just being cynical, though. --Travis Cobbs (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

8 wheeled steam train with driving rods

Mayby not as challenging as the topic title says, but at least I got your attention ;-) I like the way the lego trains were build in the blue track era, but I make no problem with using new parts as well. Having built 4 and 8 wheeled (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  No reason whatsoever...

I set up a blog. Mostly to see if I could. Now that I have one, I have no idea what to say in it, but it works wonderfully... (URL) I'll see where I go with it. I don't think it'll take place of o-t.d, but hey, one never knows... ;) Dave K (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Has anyone made an American 4-4-0 with BBB wheels?

Anthony, This looks really good. I can't believe how cool the videos are either. Great work on your site. I continue to enjoy my visits. Jon (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Boxes and storage

Hmm. I haven't seen anything like that for sale anywhere. The closest I've got is the ZAG/Stanley plastic drawers (available at B&Q), but they don't go up to very big sizes. I've just had a quick trawl, but couldn't find a picture anywhere. I agree (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I took all of your excellent suggestions and put them to good use. Here's a remake on my Steel Falcon racer: (URL) me what you think! Chris McNamee (21 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.space) !
