Just a short announcment: Two hours ago the FGLTC has made up a mini track layout with a train, which might be a record train: I'm quite sure nobody has done a train with more than 61 identical waggons so far, am I right? Hi all, I have never posted to this section before, but I'm hoping you all can help me with a few questions about the train set 7722. I bought a bunch of loose legos off a guy a few weeks back and as I was sorting through them I found some train (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

Well, it has been some time since I posted, so here is an update: Zonker and Paul Sinasohn just left after both spending the entire day working on modules. Please feel free to use it. I have an MS Power Point version also. It only took about 30 mins to make. I used Leocad and rendered each element (or small set of elements) then used power point to lay the sheet out. If you want the power point version (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

Thanks for all th positive comments! Ansewrs to some questions... 1) Storage system: Yes I did have a hay-day at Costco for the storage system. Indeed this is strange. One part of Lugnet, the Repository of Parts Inventories says set #4558 contains 736 pieces ( see (URL) ) And another part of Lugnet, Pause Magazine's set database, says the same set contains 768 pieces. Dan, It is a nice bridge, but (sorry I had to add a but) it seems that the arches are too pointy. It almost looks like the arches are gothic arches. I am more used to seeing arches that are either romanesque or flatter than romanesque (like the (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) it was built with the bricks from LD, mostly. Unfortunatly, there's no 2x3s or 1x2s or the 1x4x1 arches... so those got scarce before the building was done... Nah, I do not really think the NOLTC counts as a "real" club. I was just trying to cheat and get in on the fun. A very brief update: The GMLTC is working on a schedule for our time at LEGOLAND. With the number of people we're bringing out there, we should be able to staff the layout from 9:00am to at least 6:00pm each day, and maybe all day (9 to 9) on (...) Here's an update on the status for LDraw at the Kidvention so far: I sent off the artwork for the banner to the company (FastSigns) today, and they will get back to me soon on approval. We already have GMLTC shirts, through the work of John Neal. He is also working on ID cards for us all to wear, and banners with our logo and url to hang on or above the layout.
