Dan,

It is a nice bridge, but (sorry I had to add a but) it seems that the
arches are too pointy. It almost looks like the arches are gothic arches.
I am more used to seeing arches that are either romanesque or flatter
than romanesque (like the simple looking bridges that cross the Seine in
Paris).

Chris

P.S. It looks better than any arched bridge that I have tried to make.

Hey all - we just finished building a concrete bridge for the upcoming
layout at Chantilly, VA.  Take a look:

Two modules (4 track lengths):

The full four modules (8 track lengths):

Let us know what you think :)

(...) Well, the limitations of the baseplate size, and the required height pretty much dictated the arches. (...) Thanks! :) Dan (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)
