Would removing the battery cover help a bit in getting the CP to fit inside?

| (...) Nope. The problem is the buttons and the connectors. Removing the battery cover gains about a half a millimeter, where we ned almost a full brick width. KL (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

| I just uploaded pictures of my latest train creation. I modeled the P42DC Amtrac locomotive seen here: (URL) originally tried to duplicate the color scheme in that picture but it look so good. Instead I used the classic 4558 color scheme: (URL) (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains) !
