Hi I'm new to both this newsgroup and Lego train. Recently I bought a 4559 train and I have an old 7835 level crossing. I'm just wondering if they work with each other and if not, how can I work ith the 7835 set so that the rail will actually work (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Oil and Motors

I took out my 4564 out of storage a week ago and noticed an oily film on the motor. I wiped it off before placing it on the train and track but have wondered if anyone else has had this happen? I keep all my trains in their original boxes while in (...) (26 years ago, 10-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Railroad 2-man pushcar?

Welcome to the wonderful world of Lego trains. Where your trains are limited by only your imagination. That's coming from a guy who has built a twenty legged dodecapede insectoid train and even the Evil Knievel Stunt train. Sorry, no picures, it (...) (26 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

Sounds like you got the bug bad, Bryan...excellent! (spoken like Mr.Burns) ! My suggestion would be to go the PNLTC's website and, when you've finished drooling, start clicking on links for ideas- these guys are way more creative than TLG has (...) (26 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Railroad 2-man pushcar?

You know... On a railroad, what is that two man car where the guys pump up and down to make the car go called? Any pictures or instuctions for a Lego version? (26 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Wife's commentary on my building

I built a red train station last night... my first building in about 15 years. Here is my wife's commentary... "Why does it look like a hospital?" I guess too many red and white bricks. Back to the drawing board... Bryan (26 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  List of Current Available Trains??

Having just gotten into Lego trains after a long hiatus I have some cash burning a hole in my wallet. I just got the 4559 for Christmas and want more cars, engines, track etc. But Lego has not yet sent a S@H catalog to me. Can someone tell me the (...) (26 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Gary Louie and I talked about this offline. That's the way I'm betting too. But if not, a bulk buy will be organized. Wait 6 months, then watch this space for details. (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Rip off of Playmobil?

(...) Well, like I said, I don't know if the two trains are based on some real life train somewhere (which I suspect they are) so I can't accuse Lego of doing anything wrong, but I still think they have copied what Playmobil have done. Technically (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

Do these elements exist in green? If you have some will you sell?

I'm doing an SW-xxxx (probably a 1500 because it won't have top rounded windows) and I decided to do it in C&NW colors because yellow and green aren't used much in existing Train models. But I've discovered that I'm short (or have, but don't know (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains)
