Barbara,

The UP M10000 is beautiful.  Certainly one of the smoothest, sleekest
locomotives to ride the LEGO rails.

At first I thought the top color of the loco was gray, with bottom black. I
couldn't figure out where the 1/4 curve box-cross-section pieces came from in
gray!?  I guess its my monitor settings, since I they are white.

Keep up the good modeling, and the posting of images to your web site.
I look forward to seeing more of your designs.

I wonder if James Mathis would build something like this to match his art-deco
station. Of course, if his train were white, it wouldn't be as noticeable in
the station.

Ugh.  I've not built anything new in quite a while.  In fact, I recently boxed
up all my sorted pieces to clean up the room.  My building setting was just
becoming to cluttered and and disorganized.  I got quite a bit of new sets
during Christmas, and I'm in need of a huge piece sorting state of mind.
Boxed and in the closet are most all of my pieces.  Not sure when I'll get them
out again for a building feast.
But, I'm sure as the days go by, and I get my room back in order, I will have
to build again.

Once, again, I must say, Barbara, that you UP M10000 is a great looking
locomotive.

later,
James Mathis

(...) Wow! I've got to pick myself up off the floor for this one. I wasn't expecting much from anyone. :) What a surprize I got. Sometime next week I'll put the original picture that I got the idea from on my website. That's a site to see in itself. (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) the (...) white. It seems to add to its "age" and really promotes an art-deco feel. Sure, you could make them other colors like the trains they are modeled after, but IMO they look fine the way they are. I've been to your site before, and this (...)
