(...) images from BMP to JPG or some other smaller format? :-) The bitmaps take ages to load! I am not a train person, but I think these models and renderings are great! Jaco (19 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: WRONG Rung

(...) I'm not even a Lego train builder, but when I look at the old version, they're so bad that anything is an improvement. If you could build your ends upside down the new ones would even drop in the right direction. And you have to take into (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: TCLTC Style Track Details

  WRONG Rung

I was pretty excited when TLG developed (URL) this part>. I was never too happy with the rungs that had the grabbers towards the middle of the element instead of on the ends. But now I've changed my mind... Here are 2 pics of the 2 elements in (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) A number of great new renderings by UR can now be seen on Brickshelf. As I said before I like these locos a lot. Please if possible publish the dat-file for the Crocodile! Mattias (19 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.de)

  TCLTC Style Track Details

A while ago, some were asking for details as to how we "detailed" our tracks, especially the curves and points. I had a lot of free time this weekend, and I decided to get some pics taken (unfortunately, all of our points are still packed at the (...) (19 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Samsonite 118 Train set

(...) Ben, thanks for the correction. So, FAO Schwarz marketed the 116 in 1968 and Sears marketed the 118 in 1969. There may have been other retailers too but at least we know about those two. Eric (19 years ago, 6-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

  Re: Samsonite 118 Train set

(...) Hallo Ben! A couple of things..... The exchange rate in 1968 was about DM 4,00 = $1.00. I know that very well because I was 15 years old visiting relatives in Germany in 1968. I still have a pair of Hummel figurines that I paid DM 90,- (from (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

Hello, (...) To complement on the SNOT techniques used in this BB62400, the bicolor version led to interesting challenges especially to render both bicolor ends of the locomotive in 4 studs width.
