Thanks for those links. I think its the ER1. Since the whole thing is virtual (and will stay that way unless I bag a mysterious and large inheritance) I can build as many cars as I like! That said, I will try to build about five.

   I like your model, that front end is pretty difficult to render. I’m sure there are medium or sand or even Maersk blue parts to do the stripe, its just plates isn’t it? I also think that the pantograph should actually be on the on of the intermediate coaches, its difficult to tell from the photo’s you have but its more clear in some of the ones above. That shouldn’t be difficutl to modify tho’

I tried it with Sand Blue but it looked horrible. Maersk blue or medium blue might be worth a look though. The alternate front is much better but also unbuildable, I’ll do a rendering with it though. I’m a bit of a purist in that I only like to make buildable models, even if I have no attention of doing so.

As for the panto, I thought it looked like it was on another carriage but that seemed really odd so I figured my eyes must have been playing tricks. It would actually make the model a little more structurally sound to move it too.
