Adrian, Very nice! I attempted a Rheingold coach too, but mine are much simpler. I couldn't get the stripe across the top of the windows or a recessed door (I guess in 8 wide it could work). I was a little constrained by brick availability, the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

You can use a motor to control both New or Old Switch Point easily, there are 5 switch points in my layout, some are new type and some are old type, all of them can be controlled by RCX smoothly! Today I realized that my modified switch track was the wrong way. A right instead of the needed left. After the horror of modifying the first one (I used one that didn't work well, figured it would be best... No so. Nasty, the metal contacts had (...)
