I want to thank LEGO® and LEGO® Direct for an outstanding job on their new
train releases. This has restored my faith in what LEGO® can do and has
given juniorization a good kick in the you-know-what. -Harvey

Hear, Hear!!!  Unfortunatly, the beginning of the end of juniorization
didn't come before the train station and the Freight Loading Station were
juniorized.  Lets have a moment of silence for these great sets.

Anyways.  I've always wanted to start my own lego train collection, but I've
never had the money to do it.  Things are better for me now, but I'm still
not very rich.  I think I'll have enough money to get at least 1 metroliner
and 1 club car when they come out in August.  If, by some fluke, I end up
with more money than I expected come August, I might get another club car
and maybe as many tank cars as I can afford up to around 4 tank cars.

what was lego thinking in the first place to juniorize their train sets?they
probably knew that after a while people would loose interest since their
sets had fewer and fewer pieces, and were becoming more expensive. anyway, i
think its great that Lego wont be juniorizing their newer train sets..but i
wouldn't get to excited about it, because the Metroliner and Club cars are
going to be released as legends, and cant be juniorized...but that doesnt
mean lego wont be juniorizing their newer train sets after the 10001 and
10002 retire into the train yard...anyone think of that? lets just hope they
killed juniorization good and dumped its body in the ocean. im looking
foward to better and less expensive sets in the future-nothing like that
damn 4561, that almost just killed the hopes and dreams of lego train buffs.

joe-whose all against juniorization

(...) Hey 4561 also cause you to have to force Non-Lego train buffs to know that Lego trains arn't only for little kids. One Guy told me i'm crazy if I "play" with trains like 4561, but i don't I have never, or will ever buy a 4561. Josh (23 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)
