Hi 2.5.4. takes quite long time to install. I attempted not to install the training mission and check the box to tell it run the training mission off from CD instead. I tried to build the Hitachi-H8 cross-compiler to be used for brickos-0.2.6.10.6 . Trying to build based on binutils-2.10.1. I'm trying to install this on Win-XP. Hi Huub, (...) have you run make? (...) You can also get it working with the CVS version of Lejos and a Linux kernel >= 2.6.7, which includes the newest driver. (...) Not to put too fine a point on it, but RUN, PRGM and VIEW are read from an I/O port, while the ON/OFF button is tied to an interrupt line. I was thinking of a theoretical, fail-safe system, where it would be nice to run a clean-up routine after the run button had been pressed to stop the program. I reckon you'd have (...) Hi Everybody, I have used SendSpybotMsg and SendSpybotCtrlMessage (of course in connection with resopective set messages) without any problems using BCC 3.3.7.5 and 3.3.7.9. Well, wouldn't you know, on the very next dist-upgrade after I posted that brickOS 0.9.0 was still in "unstable" on Debian, it materialized in "testing". My laziness was undone! On the off-chance you might be trying to use lejos with BricxCC here are a few instructions that should get things working. It has been a while since I tried to use lejos with a recent java SDK and it turns out that the pre-built minimal lejos (...) (20 years ago, 5-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Hi, After a sub-vi is created, there are two controls created namely begin and end. Would someone explain why they are backwards? That means, it creates an "end" control linked to the beginning of the sub-vi, while the "begin" at the end. Thank in (...) Hi I wonder if I can call a sub program (another vi) within a program. There is an icon command for inserting another vi program into a program, but it does not seem to be a usable function though. Chris, Thanks for asking these questions. I think this has been discussed before, but it is always good to rehash this at least for the .trainheads! I don't use LNPd or BrickOS so I don't know if this will work. It makes all sorts of problems go away when using the RCX ROM message handling routines, I don't know how much of the ROM routines are used by LNPd or whether, if it doesn't, it has (...) The replacement firmware has several modes for displaying the clock. HH.MM, MM.SS and M.SS.S. The first format is the Lego standard whcih I find failry uninformative.
