I really do miss the turnpike.... But that's another story. Here in the Milwaukee area there are only 2 Targets and for the 2nd week in a row there are NO!! markdowns. I mean nothing at all. I live in CA, which SHOULD take 12+ hours to traverse N-S at the speed limit. Yet I seem to make the 450 miles from SF to LLC in 7 hours or less every time ;-) I've also made it from OH to CA in 2.5 days including a breakdown that blew half a day (...) My wife and I visited this store on opening day (1/12/01), and was completely underwhelmed. It was much like the Legoland stores, only smaller. Sorry, but I do beg to differ. I would not want to hazard a guess on the percent of our gross income spent on Legos over the past decade. Yes, the promo sets like shell you have to get at full price, but the shell sets are soooo cheap. Lego does offer the small sets like the shell does - but they charge $3.99 for them.
