In response to the name proposal for SLLUG or SLUGGNET

...it would be nice to have some uniformity (Makes us look all the more
organized which can't hurt).

...it may actually help us as a larger LEGO community in the future.  If, for
example, LEGO notices all of these groups out there that all have the same
interests and ideas they might look and say "Gee look at all
these large groups of AFOL's that are getting together, maybe there is a
marketfor bulk ordering" etc.

I agree with the above points.  A sense of community and camaraderie is part
of the fun of being an AFOL. Having the LUG suffix assists in binding us
together and has potential for a LUG-ring and greater notoriety.

Like Bay-LUG and NE-LUG, I like the fact that SL-LUG denotes our city name or
geographic location.

I am open to many ideas and despite my pro SLLUG comments, I am actually fond
of WAFOL as well.  Regarding default convention, however, WAFOL may be best
used by persons in Washington state.  Unless, of course, they were to choose a
name like SEA-LUG! :P Ha!

(...) Well again my 2 cents... Just to be anti-uniform for anti-uniformity's sake is not allways the way to go in my opinion. I am not suggesting some sort of Facist or Socialist standard that we all must follow and then Salute to the LEGO flag of (...)
