how about Greater Utah Lego Lovers?
i'm not usually an acronym developing kind of guy...but i'll see if i can come
up with any others
i'm excited to get this started, so i got a draft going:
http://www.geocities.com/EnchantedForest/Glade/9007/utahlego.html
it is truly terrible right now but will give us a place to put our ideas. i'm
sure you and barbara can come up with better layouts...let me know.
as soon as we get a basic page that we are happy with, i'd like to announce
it to rec.toys.lego to see if any lurkers would like to be added.
the url will undoubtedly change when we find a nice home for it all but i can
always throw in a forwarding address once it changes.

didn't TRU used to have a bulletin board? i bet they'd let us post an
announcement about the group there (especially since we're non-profit). other
toy stores might let us do something similar.

aww.. meetings don't have to be boast-offs (99.9% of my stuff is boxed up
anyway)..it'll be nice to bring current projects, etc. though.

again, i did the draft to show the goofy "utah" .gif i made but the rest is
just rambling ideas...take whatever you like from my draft and toss out the
rest

| (...) GULL -- dang, that's good! I like it! I really like it! (...) Notes / ideas: I dunno about flyers, esp. on windshields. I'd like to keep potential litter to a minimum. The TRU bulletin board idea is good, though. I like the boasting idea -- (...) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut)

Priority (highest to lowest): meetings, newsletter, Web site with contact info. (...) (25 years ago, 21-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut)
