I bought all four of the new SW mini sets just so that I could comment intelligently on this topic. I couldn't afford the sets with the new brown, so I will restrict my comments only to the greys. Surely one of the main values of a construction toy is that more bricks can be added over time to create new models. I can already see a PERFECT use for the Pod's from these sets, Town, Train layouts, Carnival rides!!! the teacup, the overhead Tram, perfect thing to be controlled by Mindstorm RCX bricks... (...) Hey Allan, My understanding is that the 1x1 brick with stud on only one side is not produced by TLC because the patent (!) is still owned by Ritvik and used in MegaBloks. Thanks for the opportunity to offer my opinions on the new 2004 colors. I'll have to admit that I'm disappointed with the new grays and brown. This is my first post on Lugnet and it couldn't be on a better topic. I was very closed minded that I would hate the new colors when I first read about the change on here. Here is what I think of the new colors. Firstly, from a business standpoint: 1) The color change is baffling. If I had to pick my favorite ever LEGO color, it would have to be (the old) dark gray. Don't know why, I've just always thought that a dash of dark gray always adds something good to a model asthetically. It's going to take me a while to adjust to (...) The top and bottom resemble 10 stud diameter radar dishes, while the middle is three bricks high, clear, with studs on the bottom. (...)
