Hello,
I found another variant among my parts:
3058 Plate 6 x 16 with Motor Cutout
The right one has a narrow gap for a plug to the motor, while the left
one has a gap in the size of a 1x2 brick.
As I have the wide-gap-version one also in black, I assume the
narrow-gap-version one is the oldest and later changed into the wide-gap-version
one.

| Hey, That is a very interesting part indeed! Do you have any idea where it came from or what set it is from? How long do you think you have had it? I have never seed a part like that before! Very good part for any lego model because it has the hole (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)
