Actually, L2P uses the LGEO library written by Lutz Uhlman.  Lutz also • wrote
L2P and all the textures that LGEO uses.  AFAIK, Anton Raves has no

only the coordinate system but also the origins of the parts are • different.
And since Anton is working on a Mac, I doubt he has much use for the • LDraw
parts library.  Here's a summary of the libraries I know of:

Name     System    Author
LDraw    LDraw     James Jessiman, others
LeoCAD?  LeoCAD    Leonardo Zide (many converted from LDraw)
LGEO     POV-Ray   Lutz Uhlman
Unnamed  POV-Ray   Anton Raves
L3G0     Rayshade? Paul Gyugyi   (someone converted this to POV once)

Conversion programs:
LeoCAD I believe LeoCAD has a converter to import LDraw parts.
L2P    first LDraw -> POV converter, written by Lutz, uses LGEO parts
L3P    Lars Hassing(sp?) wrote this to convert LDraw parts to POV • directly.

Feel free to correct me if necessary.
