Perhaps the offscreen rendering version of ldglite could be used
at ldraw.org to generate these pics on the fly in a CGI script?

| (...) Don, do you want to work on this? If you do, I can point you in the right direction, as far as scripts to alter and such. It's been my plan to use ldglite offscreen for this. But we should cache the images after they're generated, since CPU (...) (23 years ago, 15-May-02, to lugnet.cad)
