(...) I have POVray 3.6 running perfectly on my Vista machine (have you tried installing that one?). LPub 4.X has no problems either. Nor does the latest LDview or most other LDraw related programs I've tried (a few part authoring tools break the (...) (16 years ago, 15-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: POV-Ray wont work with Vista

(...) When I heard about the Vista announcement, the first thing I did was buy 4 new copies of XP pro, but I guess ignoring Vista isn't so good over the long run. I'll have to get Vista and run it under Sun's Virtual Box, running on my x86 Mac and (...) (16 years ago, 14-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: 2008/2009 LDraw.org Standards Committee (LSC) - Call for Nominations

(...) The LSC Final Draft (URL) says nothing about the exact hour. I interpreted "October 14 - All nominations must be received and recorded" as Midnight, October 14. Anyway nominees must have accept or declined the nomination by October 17. not (...) (16 years ago, 13-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) Noon? That seems like an odd time for the nominations to end. Does it really mean 11:59:59PM GMT On November 14th? Either way, the deadline is fast approaching. People who were nominated that are willing to run really need to accept. --Travis (16 years ago, 13-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
