Ok, I think I understand. If I understand correctly, you just want to place the sub files into your main file so that they display in the correct place? Michael, Can you add an option to the current Save Picture dialog box that duplicates the default view used in previous versions of MLCad? Hi Andy, Hmmm...I can import all three .dat files that way, but I can't seem to combine them. For instance...if I copy the pieces that make up the minifig file and then change the active model to the guardhouse file, I cannot paste those pieces in. (...) Thomas, You can make your main file an MPD and load the extra models into it. On the Main Menu, select "MultiPart", then "Import Model...". That might do what you'd like. Hope that helps. I have modeled the 7834 Level crossing in MLCAD. The finished file is called 7834final.dat and contains two "custom parts" 7834fig.dat and guardhouse.dat. Hello, I modified the source by fixing the bug, added .LDR support and the ability to zoom more a closer zoom. Get the UNOFFICIAL update at (URL) . I've had this problem with some parts and some defined but missing parts (90.dat for example) what I've done to fix it is when I find a missing or wrong lgeo part I copy the ldraw part file and rename it to something like 90nolgeo.dat so that I can (...) posible bug? when I use the -sc option it gives me every thing it should- camera, model, lights, floor, background, etc.. but when I render it only the floor and background is shown- no model. I doesn't mater if I activate the clock or not. its fine (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad)

The Parts Tracker now offers "File Check", a way to check part files from your local hard drive. Anyone can use File Check, no userid is required. It is separate from the Submit function.   Color-bug in ldview?  [DAT]
 
I have found an color bug in LDView, I don't know if somebody else noticed. The white quads at the top of a file (no base-color quad before) followed by a base-color quad will be drawn darker than inversely. Like this example looks in LDView: 4 15 (...) I'm just getting started using LDRAW-Mode in emacs. I have been unable to get the C-c C-b flexible tube thing to work in the latest version 21.1 for Windows. I keep getting an invalid argument error. I then loaded the 20.7 version and everything (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad)

Hi, Has anyone modelled the old gearbox & mounting box from set 872 (URL) ? I've found the square gearbox (shown in the centre of the box cover, and the 4.5v motor from set 870, but have been unable to find the gearbox on the left & the mounting box (...) Look at: (URL) In the upper right corner, I've added a "Quick Lookup" box. This box allows you to quickly jump to the detail page for any part on the Tracker. Just recently I was trying to find an old colour for a model that I was building. I downloaded the 10000 series dat files and a few parts are missing from my Lcad program. I ran the recent complete parts file and installed it. The parts still do not show up. Hello (...) Horse? (...) I don't consider that as a good idea. It doesn't encourage a lot of part authors to mak their parts perfect.
