I have a few (hopefully constructive) comments.
The orientation and origin should be consistent with other car doors (eg
3821.dat).
The raised section at the end of the door could be done with a 1-4disc scaled
differently in the x and y directions - that will only give you one more
triangle, but should improve rendering for renders with substitute true curves
for these primitives. It save you calculating the type 5 lines too.
You seem to be missing some type 2 lines where the edge changes direction and
where the underside of the door adjoins the pillar.
On my version of this part the slope down from the top of the pillar does not
have sharp corners, but is rounded. This adds complexity, an dis probably not
essential in my view.
You are correct to show the complete circular edge line around the top of the
pillar as on the real part, but I think you should drop the top edge of the
door by a fraction - probably only 0.5 LDunits and then add another
intersection edge.

| Fabuland Car Door. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also - should the round bit on the end of the door be created with a disc or triangles/quads? I can't seem to find the part number - now what. 0 Fabuland Car Door 0 part (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
