  Connecting Via a USB Hub
 
I have a USB Hub with an RS-232 port. When I connect the IR Transmitter to this port, the firmware downloads fine. If I have a program with a single RCX command block, it's fine too. Hi, I only have one serial port on my PC and it is currently hooked up to an external modem (PC slots are precious to me). So, I was planning on using an USB->Serial converter. Don't forget to try Target stores. That's where I've gotten my 2000 LEGO Star Wars sets. Also, remember that in most department stores (Target/Wal-Mart/K-Mart) that the Star Wars LEGO are in the Star Wars section, not the LEGO section. Mike -- Mike (...) I thought I sent you a picture of this Castle before? The Weetabix (sp.?) Castle came out in the late 60s or early 70s (of the 1900s, mind you). I thought I saw somewhere that they used RayDream, an inexpensive modeling/rendering package. The parts were custom made so that black on black beams render well. I found an alternative source for tubing and T's at my local R/C hobby shop here in Milwaukee. The silicone fuel hose used for R/C airplanes is the perfect wall thickness and diameter for the pneumatic fittings. The hose is about $.75 a foot and the (...) Nono, Larry, he's talking about the OTHER rims/tires - the ones on the 8440/8445/8520. Dave, Those rims/tires aren't available in a cheap set in white anymore.
