This set was available at the VA LEGO Outlet for 19.99 a few months ago. Based on other observations on freestyl sets at the store, I believe the original retail was ~30. This set is a pretty decent freestyle set for parts. -Chris (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

I would like to include in this wish-list: small (1/2 size current motor) servo motors. Ideally, these could connect to the standard RCX output and be set to rotate directly to any angle (in, say, 15 degree increments?). The implimentation of this (...) Not sure about the newer VM's, but the early Java systems got bogged down pretty quickly when you started to fire up lots of concurrent threads, particularly if you were doing 'real-time' type tasks such as animation or network access. Does anyone know the MSRP of this set? It's a Freestyle set with 801 pieces (counting the case?) and a storage box. Hi, I read somewhere that the RCX is limited to only 10 concurrent tasks. Is this limitation in the firmware? If so, can I use a replacement firmware like legOS to overcome this. I'm starting to be pursuaded that 8 wide is indeed superior to 6 wide. I may even build my next passinger train in that scale. Has anyone ever tried using Brasso with a toothbrush? It seems that it would work better on the textured 2x3 slopes. I personally used Brasso, with a cloth, to remove the printing from the McDonalds sets. I was surprised to see that once the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
