  Re: Lego vs. Pokemon

(...) I still see Beanie Babies all over the place, sure, there's not riots for them, but they're still there. Also, you forget that Pokemon is inherently a video game with marketing devices in the form of toys, tv shows, a movie, and cards. Kya (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)

  Old Lego

To Whom It May Concern: I recently posted a trades wanted page here at Page 2892 listing parts to many older 60's and 70's sets that I am attempting to complete. I recently came across quite a bit of old (cellulose acetate) pieces that might be of (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Hello fellow LEGO enthusiasts For my inaugural posting to this wonderful thing called lugnet I'd like to extend an invitation to those curious enough to see my first LEGO sculpture worth sharing with you fine folk: Queen Amidala.   Re: What is pictured in the inset by the MF on page 8?

(...) Hiya and welcome! Do you mean the inset drawing? I don't think there's enough resolution there to *know* what the drawing is of, but I don't think that it is Slave 1, just because of the colouring. Unless I missed the thread where it was (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: lego Technic "class"

We're having a lot of fun with this Technic "class" I'm running at my daughter's school. One of the teens who do the sessions with me rushed back in after today's had finished, hugged me, and said "thankyou, THANKYOU for doing this class!!!!!" and (...)   Re: Teaching robotics

(...) I don't think it is long enough by far. My non-robotics Technic session runs 2 hours and it's not long enough: I have them fighting to get in the door early and trying to pry them off the Lego and clear up at the end is... difficult.   Re: Line in the Sand

I think we should drop the CERTIFY as it is superfluous and apparently adds more confusion than it clarifies! Why not settle for: 0 WINDING (CCW|CW|UNKNOWN) This defines the winding of the following polygons and means that the file is "certified", (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
