Does anyone know what the max. output the RCX can produce.
I want to use an RCX to control my LEGO train track and do collision avoidance
near a track intersection. The lego track track requires a 9V source. I know
that its possible for the RCX to detect when the trains are closing near the
intersection by using light sensors, but can the RCX's output handle 9V of
output.
Thanks

| (...) As mentioned by Chris Osborn - use the trains's power pack to power the RCX (assuming your RCX is a 1.0 as I've read here the 1.5 does not have a power in port) We have used it successfully. The other way we have done it is by powering the (...) (25 years ago, 15-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
