If the pwm is really being controlled by an 8 bit counter, that might be fine for the servos. The current rcx output has a cycle time of 8mS and uses 1mS increments. If those are the top 3 bits, then the resolution is 5 bits worth or 0.03mS. This (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I agree with the sticker issue, however there is a fine line! I think stickers are OK if they only represent a logo, numbering or words. I don't think using stickers to mask colors and create stripes... is legit. In many of the model railroad decal (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

I love the idea of controlling an R/C servo with the RCX, but I don't think it is possible with only software. So, why not change it to blue or yellow or any other color. That way we keep the brick, but let Lego keep their red 2xN bricks. Would this work?? It surprises me too. But you should remember that the boxes for this set are very flimsy. Very few of these that I have seen can be described "mint". So perhaps it is worth it... if you need a box. Thanks Larry, I actually borrowed the tile idea from LEGO land, Billund. They actually "side" entire houses with this technique, but they have a ton of 1x8 tiles... BTW spelling has always been a problem for me (darn phonics). I didn't know that (...) (27 years ago, 20-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)
