Irregular pieces with limited need for subpart structure and primitives, like minfig accessories and headgear, strike me as the perfect thing to create with an interactive 3D modeling tool like 3dsmax, Maya, Rhino, Milkshape3D or whatever people (...) I figured someone would have posted this already. On the Late Show last night (Feb 25th), Nathan Sawaya did a real time mosaic of Biff Henderson during the show. This whole GBC hasn't really inspired me at all. But thats what's so good about Lugnet, differing opinions are, if anything, encouraged. Theirs nothing wrong with GBC, but I've found the few posts offering alternatives far more intriguing, (...)
