If you are willing to do a little probing/research, I've mentioned it a couple times. There is a company called Rock Tenn that makes and prints up the boxes. When you mix the two parts together it sets in about 2 hours at room temprature - No heating required, which makes it idea lfor this kind of work. It's easy to find where I am (U.K.). I don't (...) I think that a sandcrawler is a definate. I remember seeing a photograph of a prototype design in the UK lego Fan Club magazine in late 1998. It had loads of tan / brown blocks and, of course, tracks. It was labelled "The Designers Favourite (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I think you're right on the money. I fear that they wont release a sandcrawler because it would have to be so scaled down.
