It’s hardly gotten nasty in here. There has been a bit of stern language with some of the relative newbies, that’s all.

I get the impression you ‘old-timers’ (the first 500 or so people to join LUGNET) don’t like us ‘young whippersnappers’ invading .space.

I certainly hope that is not the case. I have been a reader/poster since the decline of readership from the older newsgroup RTL. I don’t know if that classifies me as an ‘old-timer’ or not compared to some others. Anyway, I don’t have a problem with new builders invading .space so long as we can all be fairly civil and have fun. After all without new blood the hobby would eventually die and that would be no fun at all.
