It looks like "collecting things" is a way of life in US..:-)
I don't collect anything but Lego, and not collecting it just to sole
purpose of collecting..:-) However I enjoy having things from the past,
mostly books (a history atlas printed in 1903 -quite ironic?-, or a
trigonometric tables book from 1942, accurate to nine places, although
my little Casio can do that much more easily)
My other biggest hobby, second to Lego, is reading, mostly SF (I read at
least one 300-400 page book every week). And I'm deep into SW universe,
too (I have almost all the references, and regularly reading expanded
universe novels. I haven't started yet buying comics though).
I like watching movies, again primarily SF and cults from the past.
Pirated VCD business is quite available here in Turkey (even small
groceries sell them for 3 bucks, and hire them for half of it). I bought
a DVD player two months ago and started to buy DVD's, too. It is also
possible to hire them here in my country for 4 bucks a week..:-)
I'm also an outdoors sporter (mostly trekking and camping) but can not
spend much time on it recently.
And I spend some time with computers, mostly games and internet since
the university, but I was more deep when I was a student.
