The real worry at the moment is that no-brain greedy Texan clown that
happens to run the show in Washington. For some strange reason american
presidents feel they're president of the world.
If George Dubya decides Ariel Sharon is the goody and Arafat is the baddy,
who dares to differ? Not his #1 fan Tony B. anyway, and that spoils any
chances of Europe interfering.
If George Dubya decides he wants to continue where daddy left off (in
killing Saddam) who's gonna say no? Well, half the Arab world does, but who
cares?
The whole world knows that the Kyoto treaty is good for the environment, and
drilling for oil in Alaska is bad. Does Georgy care? No, 'cause he has to
pay back his filthy rich oil friends that got him where he is now.
Did anyone notice that the american government has passed a law that allows
the US to attack the Netherlands if they feel any american citizen is held
by the international court in The Hague? Why would the US want their army to
be above the law? Why are they the only major country that will not ratify
the treaty that forms the basis of the international court? Wouldn't have
anything to do with their normal practice? Wouldn't have anything to do with
all those civilians killed accidentally by 'precision bombing'?
Did George Dubya care about 14 innocent Palestinians getting accidentally
killed when the Israeli's dropped a bomb in the middle of a town to kill one
guy? No. But when 4 american students got killed in the retaliation all of a
sudden he was furious.
As long as this kind of crap goes on there is no hope of any solution in
Israel. In any other country there would have been a UN force months back. A
UN force to keep the Israeli's under control that is. Look what happened in
former Yugoslavia.
America, please send George back to Texas and let him think he's running an
oil company. Get yourself a proper president!
Duq
P.S. No, this is not meant to be subtle in any way. Just had to get it of my
chest.
