OK Dave, you get a "Brave Shopper" card to carry now.
You know, those were sets I bought at regular price too.. (maybe some new
Treasury at a Kohl's 20% sale, which is really like 15% off MSRP.) Also
Desert Skiff, Droid Fighter, Pontoon Plane, and 1 Slave 1. I bought Fort
Legoredo and Gold City Junction (x4) at full price in 2000. (DYA fans, no
reminders please...) Possibly an X-wing or two here and there. And some S@H
exclusives like the chrome knights.
Buckets and tubs I can fork out for, because I need the bricks right away
for a project. Who feels a blue tub is not a good value at $20?
However, far and away I've spent 5x or 10x or more on fire sale goods.
Ooh, I have to order that $15 Animals set from S@H yet... hmm, just 1, or
more than 1... I actually pre-ordered my copy of that way back when.
I'd sure like to spend Lego money on worthwhile new offerings. LOM is
possible. The "Dino Green Parts Pack" is a good bet. If only those $20 Shell
sets were in Target this year, I'd have plenty of incentive.
