What's all the fuss about? They don't look great to me. They look like those kiddy rides you find in theme parks to me. A steam train should have cilinders, pushrods etcetera. Now that the pictures can be seen, one can notice a difference between the small engine with tender and the small engine without tender. Some time during 2000 I mentioned that it would be a nice idea if TLC/TLG did a couple of Dinosuar skeletons (sort of lego fossils.). I did not expect the idea to be taken too seriously .... Just make sure you refer to them as "legos" in the film. Since we've seen letters indicating that "legos" are _not_ the correct term for "LEGO brand building bricks", obviously no one would think they _were_ "LEGO brand building bricks". -gyug In (...) Actually, I would say it's much, much different. I think a better analogy would be that if you bought Play-doh and made an animated film, certainly Fischer-Price (or whoever makes PLay-Doh) would not have the right to suppress your film. A company cannot control what you do with a product after you've bought it. Once you own the product, it's yours to do with as you please. Maybe you can't get horses as conveniently, but TLG still makes them. If you're a club member, you can buy <set:6013 Samauri Swordsman> for $2.00 US from S@H. how about turning the bulk listing at lego more like a brickbay store? assumeing the manufactureing machines/wharehouse storage can handle you could by things one peice or 50 peices at a time, in the color you want you could buy all the peices for (...) Some thoughts from a loyal but non-member Lugnet participant: I believe I understand where Todd is coming from here, and I think that generally, the idea makes sense.
