Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem? —Doyle G. Nelson
Hello, I just wanted to know who here sprung and bought a cable modem. I am asking Because I am trying to make my webpage friendly for web users. I don't want people waiting 5 years to download, just because they have a 56k. :-) Doyle (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Few people with cable internet have "sprung" -- a cable modem costs something like $300, maybe more, and they're not standardized, so you can't buy one and use it anywhere.
