Here in Katy (Houston),Texas My ADSL service costs $49.00 per month
including internet provider. This is for 128/384 service although my
download speed are consistently close to the 1.5 meg range. I have had no
problems with my ADSL service.
I am really going to miss my ADSL when we move back up north in about 4 to 5
months. Road Runner (cable) service will be available at my new house but
from what I hear the overall performance is not as good as ADSL.
The real problem is that I am going through withdrawal since all of my Lego
are packed away in storage. It will be over six months from when I packed up
until I can unpack it.
