Not me. Text is how to judge a good monitor. I have a 20 in Apple Trinitron
display sitting on the shelf behind me. Games look AWESOME on it, but trying to
read text on it gives me a headache. The previous owner must have left it on 24
hours a day. It suffers from serious fade and burn-in, and the focus is shot (I
even opened it to play with the focus nob which helped a teeny bit). It makes
me so sad...I looks like it would be so good, but alas it was not to be.

P.S. The monitor is inheirited, and I am talking about my at work setup.

Thought my wife would shoot me if I spent $5000 on a flat panel to play
games on.  Buying Lego sets off Ebay and stuff is bad enough.

As soon as good 22" flat panel displays fall under $1000, I'm getting • one.
Not holding my breath though.

I haven't seen anything, anywhere, at any price, that can be described as • a
_good 22"_ flat panel display.  Seems like anything bigger than 18" is
low-res, and is sold for use in large-meeting presentations.

Do 22" monsters actually exist?

Steve
